By accessing our website (kaivalyaacademy.in), enrolling in our classes, or using our Student Practice App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us
Kaivalya Academy is an abacus training centre located in Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra, India. We offer abacus classes for children aged 5 and above, both offline (at our centre) and online (via video call).
2. Enrollment & Fees
- Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of the applicable fee.
- Fees are due at the beginning of each month or as agreed at enrollment.
- Discounts and offers are valid only for the period specified and cannot be combined unless stated.
- Fee structure may be revised with 30 days' prior notice.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds: Fees paid are non-refundable after the 7-day trial period, except in case of medical emergency (with documentation) or if Kaivalya Academy cancels a batch without providing an alternative.
- Free demo classes carry no obligation and no charge.
- Partial-month refunds are not provided for mid-month withdrawals.
4. Attendance & Conduct
- Regular attendance is encouraged for best results. No fee adjustments for missed classes.
- Make-up classes may be arranged at the teacher's discretion.
- Students and parents are expected to maintain respectful conduct toward teachers and staff.
- Disruptive behaviour may result in suspension or termination of enrollment without refund.
5. Student Practice App
- The app is provided free of charge to enrolled students.
- Login is via email OTP. Account security is the user's responsibility.
- Practice data (scores, sessions, accuracy) is stored and visible to the class admin/teacher.
- The app is for personal educational use only — not for commercial redistribution.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, the abacus engine, formulas, and course materials — is the property of Kaivalya Academy. Reproduction or redistribution without written permission is prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
Kaivalya Academy provides abacus education in good faith. We are not liable for indirect losses, including academic performance outcomes. The website and app are provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability.
8. Online Classes
- Online classes are conducted via Zoom or Google Meet.
- Students must have a stable internet connection and a device with camera/microphone.
- Recording of sessions by students is not permitted without prior consent.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
